Best UserGems alternatives in 2026 (with pricing)

The best UserGems alternatives in 2026 depend on what you are replacing. If you want the same Salesforce focused champion tracking for less, look at Champify (from $500 a month). If you want job changes inside a broader signals tool, look at Common Room, Clay or Unify. If you only need alerts, HubSpot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator cover the basics. And if you want job change and champion signals next to the sequences that act on them, Salesgear does that on credits. All pricing below was checked on each vendor’s own site in October 2026.
UserGems is the category’s best known name for a reason: it tracks your buyers and users when they change jobs, creates the new records in your CRM, and routes them to outreach. The usual reason teams look elsewhere is the price. Its own pricing page now starts at $40,000 a year. If your list is a few thousand people and your team is small, that is a lot to pay for one signal.
TL;DR
- UserGems list price starts at $40,000 a year plus a $3,000 implementation fee (UserGems pricing). Vendr’s data shows a median buyer paying $30,500 a year across 173 purchases (Vendr).
- Closest like for like: Champify, which runs inside Salesforce and starts at $500 a month.
- Signals platforms with job changes included: Common Room (from $2,500 a month billed annually), Clay (job change signals from the $167 a month Launch plan) and Unify (job change signals on every plan, including free).
- Alerts only: HubSpot’s job change signals and Sales Navigator’s lead alerts. Cheap, but you do the rest by hand.
- Salesgear tracks job changes and champion moves on your contact lists for 1 credit per contact per check and drafts the outreach for you to approve. It does not install a managed package in your CRM or mine your calendars.
How we compared UserGems alternatives
Every tool here was judged on the same five questions, because these are the ones that decide whether champion tracking produces pipeline or just notifications:
- Who can it track? Customers, users, lost deal contacts, or anyone in your CRM.
- What happens after a move? An alert, a new CRM record, a drafted email, or an automated sequence.
- Which CRM does it fit? Several of these tools are built only for Salesforce.
- How is it priced? Annual contract, monthly plan, per seat or per credit.
- Does a person stay in control of what is sent?

Prices are list prices from each vendor’s pricing page, checked in October 2026. Annual contracts are often negotiated below list.
1. Champify
Champify is the closest match to UserGems. It tracks contacts as they change jobs, surfaces executive new hires at your target accounts, and lives inside Salesforce as a native app. It also reads your calendars to find relationships that were never logged in the CRM, which is useful if your reps are bad at adding contact roles.
Pricing (as of October 2026): Lite starts at $500 a month for 5,000+ tracked contacts and 10 user calendars; Pro starts at $2,500 a month for 40,000+ contacts with a dedicated GTM engineer; Enterprise starts at $5,000 a month for 150,000+ contacts (Champify pricing).
Watch out for: it is built for Salesforce. Its site does not list a HubSpot CRM integration, so HubSpot only teams should check before booking a demo. Champify’s homepage says past customers convert “6 to 22x higher” than other outbound signals (Champify); that is the vendor’s own figure. For the full profile see our Champify tool page, and for a head to head see UserGems vs Champify vs Salesgear.
2. Common Room
Common Room is a signals platform that brings many buying signals about people and accounts into one place, and job change tracking is part of every plan. The Advanced and Enterprise plans add a buying committee view, which maps the people around a deal.
Pricing (as of October 2026): Essential is $2,500 a month billed annually, with job change tracking included; Advanced and Enterprise are custom (Common Room pricing).
Watch out for: you are buying a whole signals platform. If job changes are the only signal you need, it is a lot of product to roll out. More detail on our Common Room tool page.
3. Clay
Clay is a data workflow tool: you build tables, pull data from many sources and push the results wherever you want. Its paid plans include signals for job changes, promotions and new hires, which you can wire into your own champion tracking workflow.
Pricing (as of October 2026): Free has no job change signals; Launch is $167 a month and Growth is $446 a month, both with job change signals; Enterprise is custom (Clay pricing).
Watch out for: Clay gives you the parts, not the playbook. Someone has to build and maintain the table, the alert and the handoff to outreach. See Salesgear vs Clay for how the two approaches differ.
4. Unify
Unify combines intent and job change signals with sequences, so a move can start outreach in the same tool. It is the cheapest paid option on this list on a per seat basis.
Pricing (as of October 2026): a free plan with limited credits; Base at $20 per seat per month with 800 credits; Pro at $60 per seat per month with 2,400 credits; Business on request. Job change and hiring signals are listed on every plan (Unify pricing).
Watch out for: HubSpot and Salesforce sync starts on Pro (read only) and is read and write only on Business. Credits are per seat, so a large list watched by a small team can run out. Compare on our Salesgear vs Unify page.
5. HubSpot job change signals
If you run on HubSpot, check what you already have before buying anything. HubSpot shows “Job started” and “Job ended” signals on contacts associated with companies you track, and you can use them in segments, workflows and lead scoring. Tracking companies uses HubSpot Credits and needs Data Enrichment permissions (HubSpot’s guide).
Watch out for: it only watches contacts tied to tracked companies, and the alert is where it ends. Writing to the person at the new company and covering the old account are still on you.
6. LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Sales Navigator sends a “Lead changed jobs” alert when a saved lead moves to a new company and “Lead changed roles” when they move inside the same company (LinkedIn help). For a rep with a short list of champions, saving them as leads is a solid free start if you already pay for a seat.
Pricing (as of October 2026): Core is $119.99 a month or $1,079.88 a year; Advanced is $159.99 a month or $1,799.88 a year; Advanced Plus, which adds CRM sync, is custom (LinkedIn pricing).
Watch out for: you only hear about people you saved, alerts arrive in a feed and a weekly email, and the advanced CRM sync is an Advanced Plus feature. Our Sales Navigator guide covers the setup.
7. UserGems Starter (if you use Salesloft)
Worth knowing before you shop: UserGems has offered a free Starter version inside Salesloft Rhythm that tracks up to 1,000 contacts, updated monthly, and creates a task with a suggested email when someone moves (UserGems). If your team already runs on Salesloft and your champions list is small, this may be all you need.
8. Salesgear
Salesgear approaches this from the outreach side. Job change and champion signals sit next to the contacts, sequences and inbox you already use, so a move goes straight to a draft you can send.
What it does:
- Tracks Champion moves on a contact list you choose (your past customers), and Job changes on all your contacts or one list. Checks run monthly by default, weekly if you choose.
- Costs 1 credit per contact per check, whether or not the person moved. A contact watched by both trackers is looked up and charged once, and each tracker can have a monthly credit cap that pauses it.
- Puts each move in your Signals feed with a drafted email to the person, written from the move, for you to edit and send.
- Lets an agent act on a move: enroll the contact in a sequence after your approval, create a task, post to Slack, or add them to a list.
- Covers the old account with Clean up: the old contact is marked as left, its old work email marked invalid and its sequences stopped, a linked contact is created at the new company, and Find a replacement adds who holds the role now.
What it does not do:
- It does not install a managed package in Salesforce or write job change fields into your CRM the way UserGems and Champify do. Moves are handled on Salesgear contacts.
- It does not read your calendars, call recordings or product usage to build the champions list. You build the list, from your CRM or a CSV.
- Checks are scheduled (monthly or weekly), not continuous.
- It does not send LinkedIn messages for you, and nothing sends on its own.
Pricing (as of October 2026): Basic is $49 a month for 1,200 credits; Pro is $99 a month for 4,000 credits; Pro Plus is $199 a month for 10,000 credits (Salesgear pricing). A 1,000 person champions list checked monthly uses 1,000 credits a month.
Nothing sends on its own. Every draft waits for your OK. See the Signals page for the full list of signals.

Run a 30 day test before you sign
Whatever you pick, test it on your own list before committing to an annual contract. Take 200 champions, run them through the tool, and check by hand how many of the moves it reports are real and how many real moves it missed. Then send the play one note to every real move and count replies. That gives you a hit rate and a reply rate you can price against, which beats any vendor’s case study. The playbook for running those plays is in champion tracking: follow your best buyers to their next company.

Frequently asked questions
UserGems lists three plans on its pricing page as of October 2026: Core at $40,000 a year, Advanced at $75,000 and Elite at $150,000, each with a one time implementation fee of $3,000 to $10,000. Vendr reports a median buyer price of $30,500 a year across 173 purchases.

At list price, yes. Champify starts at $500 a month for its Lite plan, while UserGems starts at $40,000 a year. Champify is built for Salesforce, so check CRM fit before comparing price.
Yes. HubSpot shows Job started and Job ended signals on contacts associated with companies you track. Tracking uses HubSpot Credits and Data Enrichment permissions, and the signal is an alert: outreach and record cleanup are still up to you.
For tracking job changes and champion moves on your own lists and turning each move into a drafted email or a sequence, yes. It does not install a managed package in Salesforce, write job change fields to your CRM, or mine calendars and product usage to build your list, so teams that depend on those should keep that in mind.
